Quality - Our doctors utilize modern, evidence-based techniques to ensure the highest level of success with all surgical procedures.  Drs. Nicholas Allan and Leslie Broline participate in local, regional, and national continuing education courses to remain at the forefront of periodontal technology and research.

Education - Just as we are constantly building on our own education, one of our main goals is to educate our patients.  It is imperative that we keep our patients informed about what is happening, why it is happening, and what can be done to remedy the situation.  Education is the keystone of prevention, and prevention is the keystone of health. 

Specialization - As the only periodontal office in Austin utilizing operating microscopes and microsurgical techniques, we offer innovation and sub-specialization within the field of periodontics and implant dentistry.  Additionally, Dr. Allan and Dr. Broline are both Diplomates of the American Board of Periodontology, meaning they have made significant achievements beyond the mandatory and educational requirements of the specialty.

Practice History

The practice was established by Dr. Leslie Broline over thirty years ago in the heart of Austin and is well known for quality periodontal therapy and dental implant treatment.  In 2000, Dr. Broline introduced Microsurgical Periodontics to the dental community of Austin, where the highly specialized techniques have become a standard for aesthetic periodontal and dental implant treatment.  Dr. Nicholas Allan recently purchased the practice, continuing the long-standing tradition of excellence in patient care.

The doctors and team have witnessed the benefits of microsurgery for patients, including improved healing following treatment and superior aesthetic results.  Both doctors utilize the microscope and microsurgical instruments during surgical procedures, which provides a higher level of precision and accuracy with periodontal therapy and the placement of dental implants and bone grafts than conventional surgery.
